THROWN TO THE SUN are a progressive death metal band from Turkey. Formed in 2010, THROWN TO THE SUN released their debut “Of Oceans and Raindrops” in 2011 and their sophomore release “Out of Themselves Things Will Come” was released in December 2014.

Very late to this, but I'm glad I found it. The very brand of melodic death/doom I savor so much. Soaring leads, haunting riffs, and melancholic vocals. Everything I hold dearest in music.

Holy unholy shitballs this is an oriental death metal masterpiece! I only discovered it just now while checking their upcoming 2020 new album Al Qassam through AMG. Checking out the rest of their discography was really worth it. Killer album.
